The Biocomposite project aims to develop new biocomposites using polyesters synthesized using only renewable monomers and natural fibers, for use in the automotive industry.
The significant reduction in vehicle weight that can be achieved through the use of these new materials will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and helping the sector meet the EC's carbon neutrality targets.
